Our Mission
There are some things in this world that defy explanation — anomalies that appear through the old growth of the Cascades, echoes drifting off the mountains, and readings that hum just beyond the edge of the known. When the lights start flickering from Seattle to Eugene, somebody must answer the call. That’s where we come in.
We are Ghostbusters Engineering Pacific Northwest — the builders, tinkerers, and field technicians of the Pacific Northwest’s Ghostbusters community. We pair Ghostbusters gear with the maker spirit of the region: 3D printers humming, soldering irons hot, schematics on the workbench, and Ecto sirens blaring. When we’re not out busting ghosts, we share our craft, our equipment, our vehicles and our time with the community — showing up at various events and charity fundraisers from the Redwoods of California to the North Cascades.
We’re here to support the Pacific Northwest: one build, one bust, and one good cause at a time.
Our Purpose
Ghostbusters Engineering Pacific Northwest is a charity focused Ghostbusters fan and cosplay group serving Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and the surrounding Pacific Northwest region. We celebrate the technical, mechanical, and creative side of the Ghostbusters franchise by building, maintaining, and exhibiting proton packs, Ectomobiles, various set pieces and props, as well as supporting equipment.
We exist to support local charities and community causes through fundraising appearances, donation drives, and event partnerships; to engage and inspire the public — particularly young fans and aspiring makers — through appearances at community events; to advance the craft of prop building, 3D printing, electronics, and fabrication through build nights, workshops, and shared expertise; to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful community of Ghostbusters fans across the Pacific Northwest; and to collaborate in good faith with sibling franchises and the broader cosplay charity community.
